My name is Sharn and I am the owner of Yoga Mums Fitness.

I am a wife and a Mum with two beautiful boys and I am very passionate about fitness, healthy eating, being with my family and, of course, yoga!

I have been practicing yoga for more than 10 years and it keeps me feeling strong, calm and balanced, and was a source of calmness and mindfulness through both of my pregnancies and beyond.

Throughout my years of practicing a wide range of yoga styles, there was always a lingering desire to teach and be able to impart to others the sense of wellbeing, mindfulness and calmness that yoga gave to me. After the pregnancy and birth of my first son I realised that I wanted this teaching journey to focus on pre and postnatal yoga.

I have a strong belief in the value of yoga for women’s health, and testament to this was my ability to use yoga to recover stronger and fitter from both my pregnancies. It has led me to have a passion for working with women during their pregnancy and helping them prepare for birth, and then working with them again after their baby has arrived to restore their core (and pelvic floor), work on posture and rebuild overall strength to help them through Mum life and beyond.

Being a Mum with young kids, I know how taxing pregnancy and motherhood can be on the body! And I also know how important it is to connect with other Mums during this time in your life.
